Formula 1 | Niki Lauda omaggiato dall’intero Motorsport
Una delle più imponenti icone della Formula 1, sia dentro che fuori dalla pista, il tre volte Campione del Mondo Niki Lauda è morto questo lunedì all’età di 70 anni. I piloti passati e presenti di tutte le categorie di corse hanno di lui il ricordo di un gentiluomo, una leggenda e un amico. Niki Lauda aveva già vinto la morte nel 1976, nel tremendo incidente di Nurburing. Il nome di un guerriero potrebbe sicuramente essere il suo. Riuscì perfino a scherzarci su quell’incidente che lo segnò a vita e non ebbe mai timore di mostrare le cicatrici del suo volto.
Una ripresa sbalorditiva, da guerriero, appunto. Fu soprattutto la sua caparbietà a riportarlo in pista a soli 42 giorni dal sinistro. Pochissimi avrebbero avuto questo tale coraggio e la forza d’animo di mettersi in discussione da subito sia moralmente che fisicamente. Entra a far parte degli eroi eterni, insieme ad Ayrton Senna. Chiunque abbia avuto la fortuna di lavorare al suo fianco, averlo come riferimento o semplicemente conoscerlo ne resterà per sempre onorato.
